    For students with a USCF rating or ChessKid.com rating (fast or slow) of 1200 or more. National Master Nathan Hoover Will provide in-depth training on end games (minor piece, King and pawn, Rook, and even Queen endings); openings, and analysis of master level chess games.   • Fencing - Grade 2 - 5

    For grades 2-5 Get pumped and primed for the year end, Spring Fencing Championship.* Coaches will also hold an in-class tournament toward the end of the session. Each {YEL!} fencing class follows four basic components: •Teach It!…Hall of Fame Olympic Fencing Coach Ro Sobalvarro crafts our lessons and curriculum. •Practice It!…Students pair up and practice the fencing move or concept, rotate partners and repeat. •Move It!…Students then participate in fencing matches using only the moves taught so far. •Play It!…10-15 minutes each class students fence with multiple fencers at their skill level.   • Little Dragon Soccer

    Little Dragon sports are focused on providing a FUN introductory experience for all. Players will participate in age-appropriate games and activities designed to teach fundamentals, encourage physical activity, and generate interest in the sport. No equipment or experience necessary. This is an indoor/outdoor activity. We will always meet in the gym after school, but will move our activity outdoors whenever weather permits. Participants should dress appropriately for activity and the weather. Facemasks are required for all participants. All participants should bring a water bottle. Sharing of equipment will be limited as much as possible. Participants will be encouraged to wash/disinfect hands as they arrive, leave, and throughout the program. If your student is sick - please stay home. Parents will be directed on where to pick up their child for each specific location.

    Little Dragon sports are focused on providing a FUN introductory experience for all. Players will participate in age-appropriate games and activities designed to teach fundamentals, encourage physical activity, and generate interest in the sport. No experience necessary.     Learn this Korean art of self-defense and improve health, balance, agility and poise. Develop mental alertness and moral ethics to enhance your life. Parents & spectators are not allowed in the building. All participants are required to wear face masks at all times - arriving, during, and leaving the program. Instructor: Phil Dickey
