Baseball Camp
Players learn baseball material that fits his age range. Learn and improve throwing, hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, sliding, and team offense and defense. Players will be working hand in hand with varsity coaches and HS players. Instructor: Coach Michael Barta -

Boys Little Dragon Track and Field
Join coaches and athletes from the Johnston Track & Field team for an introduction to the fundamentals of this great sport! Emphasis will be having fun and building individual skills & fitness. The final day of camp will consist of a non-competitive mini fun Track Meet in which everyone will receive a gift for participation. Instructor: Coach Matt Jaschen -
Cheerleading Camp
Learn foundational cheerleading skills with the Johnston Cheerleaders! A performance will be hosted at the end of the week showcasing what cheerleaders learned. Clay Camp: Best of Clay Camp I
Clay camp this year will highlight student-favorite projects from Amy's past decade of teaching. This years planned projects include bobbleheads, animal masks, and gulping creatures! (Projects may vary based on class ability and work speed.) Our projects will be fired in a kiln and Amy will email parents with a pick-up date (usually 2-3 weeks after the last day of class). All tools and materials are included. No experience necessary. If your child is registered for more than one clay camp, supervision is NOT provided between camps. Clay Camp: Garden Crawlers
In this camp, we will meet daily to explore all the creepy, crawly, and cute creatures we might find in our gardens. We will use squishy clay to make gnomes, owls, ladybugs, birdbaths, planters, and more! We will get a little dirty, learn new building techniques, and have lots of fun playing with clay. Destination Mars: Rocketry Course
Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Do you have the right stuff? Coach Miklannet Tennal has been working with youth athletes for over 20 years. This camp will focus on learning the basics skills and terminology of volleyball. As a former college volleyball coach, Coach Mik knows the key to a young player falling in love with the sport is getting touches on the ball. We will focus on having fun while learning the skills to build successful athletes.
