From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
This program introduces the skills and rules needed to play football. Participants move through drills with their parent/adult working on passing/receiving, running, defense, and blocking. Each child must have a “coaching” parent/adult present who is willing to go through each drill throughout the clinic. Practices include QB/Center exchange, hand-offs/running and dodging, pass/catching, how to pull flags (without tackling), some blocking, and some head to head drills.
