Johnston Youth Basketball - 2nd Grade Boys
"This is a youth basketball league for students living in or attending the Johnston School District. Participants will be placed on teams and play an 8 game season. All games will take place on Saturday mornings and early afternoons. Teams will have practice one night each week. Practices are limited to one hour and can start the week of November 5. Games will begin on December 1. Season will end February 2. No games will be held on December 22 or 29. Volunteer Coaches meeting will be October 24th at the CEC (6600 NW 62nd Ave) at 6pm.. Coaches will contact parents with practice/game schedules after Oct. 24th. All players will receive a t-shirt. Volunteer coaches are needed! *Those on the wait list will only be added if there is room on a team. Max on a team is 10. No one will be put on a team once games have started. *Team will be selected at random, no request to be with other participants will be honored. *If you are volunteering to coach, you can request a co-coach. There will only be 2 coaches per team. *Conflict dates for practices- we will do our best to accommodate these conflicts, but preferred dates are not guaranteed.
