    This is a great introduction into the competitive world of obstacle course racing! Participants spend time warming up in gymnastics gym with games and races (including time on trampolines and in foam pits).     Participants will learn about the responsibilities of being a babysitter, what parents/employers expect, and how to care for infants and toddlers. Participant will learn about age-appropriate toys, activities, safety, and basic first aid. Participants receive a book as well as a certificate of completion at the end of the course. YEL’s Teach It, Practice It, Play It® approach teaches fencers new skills each class, practices those skills in kid-friendly fencing games, and then encourages students to use those skills in fencing bouts (matches). The {YEL!} Fencing Club is designed for fencers who: • Have participated in past classes or camps with the {YEL!} program • Want to rapidly increase their skill in fencing. • Want to compete in local, regional, and national fencing tournaments. • Want the camaraderie that a club has with the opportunity to get to know other competitive fencers on a personal level and to encourage each other at tournaments. • Want more personalized instruction. • Want to study with a top coach without traveling too far. • Fencing gear is provided, but we recommend that fencers consider purchasing their own gear soon.     Intro to Sewing

    Make the most of no school by learning a new skill in Intro to Sewing! Sewing develops fine motor skills, improves focus and concentration and teaches the importance of patience and self control. Participants will practice creativity, increase skills, achieve goals, and challenge comfort zones while exploring the art of sewing. All materials and equipment provided. Students will learn and practice fundamental sewing skills while learning to safely use sewing tools and equipment. Then complete 3 projects - including a Johnston Dragon themed project!     Learn a few TRICKS to go along with Halloween TREATS! Adult-child duos attend this one-day Magiclass together with professional magician Lee Cole. Learn to entertain and amaze family and friends with magic that can be performed anywhere, at any time, and for years to come! Each child who is participating in the Magicamp should be registered.     This Korean art of self-defense (includes Tae kwon do and Karate concepts) is recognized as a beneficial method of improving health, balance, agility, and poise.
