Girls Soccer High School Pre-Season Camp
**NOTE- Dates were incorrect in Connection Program Guide. This camp is in March. Special guest instructor, Drake Women’s Soccer Head Coach Lindsey Horner, will lead participants through training to get players ready for the season. Coach Horner has been the Head Women’s Soccer Coach since 2008. Horner was a four-year letterwinner at Kansas, being named the Jayhawks' most valuable offensive player as a senior in 2000. This camp’s goal is to prepare high school players for the demands of the upcoming season, both physically and mentally. Camp sessions will focus on physical, technical, tactical, and psychological training. This camp is open for any and all Iowa Girls High School Soccer players. Camp Director: Eric Shafer -

Tae Kwon Do
This Korean art of self-defense is recognized as a beneficial method of improving health, balance, agility, and poise. Tae-Kwon-Do is also a philosophy of mental alertness and moral ethics that can serve to enhance anyone's life, young or old. This program is a year around so sessions may be taken on an individual basis or ongoing. For ages 6 years and older. Students must sign up on or before the first class day of each session. Instructor, Phil Dickey, a fourth Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, Fifth Degree Black Belt Karate, Renshi Instructor with Ryukyu Kempo Alliance, and a 3 time Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee. -
