  • Pot Holders & Trivets

    Just in time for the holidays, make these simple square and rectangle pot holders and trivets! Sizes work great to set hot 9x9 and 13x8 pans on. No sewing experience necessary but do need to have working knowledge of your machine. Equipment/materials to bring with you: Sewing Machine (must have working knowledge of your machine) Scissors Pin Needles rotary cutter seam ripper cutting mat cutting ruler 1/3 fabric x width of fabric for back of trivets two- 1/4 x width of fabric for the squares Instructor: Jenny Stephenson
  • Exploratory Beekeeping

    Are you interested in learning more about beekeeping? Maybe you are are trying to make a decision about whether or not you want to keep bees. This class is for prospective beekeepers. This 2-hour, one-time course will present an overview of a beekeeper's year regarding labor, costs, and seasonal considerations; city bee laws, activities that will support pollinators whether you are a beekeeper or not, as well as providing other informational resources for you to continue your learning.
