From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
Kids will explore the invisible force of magnetism in this hands-on science lab! They will mix and knead their own magnetic slime, watch it come alive around a magnet, then design and build their own magnetic maze to test and race in this full day class. They'll explore attraction, repulsion, and magnetic force, and will take home their slime and maze creations!
Early Registration Checkpoint: Nov 6. Class will be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met by this date.
