From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
Participants will get ready to squish, mold, and decorate their way through this hands-on science lab! Kids will explore the science of foam and squishy materials, test how different shapes and add-ins affect squishy speed and bounce-back, and design and decorate their own custom squishies in this full day class. They'll explore material science and basic chemistry and will take home their squishy creations!
Early Registration Checkpoint: Oct 5. Class will be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met by this date.
