Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Learn martial arts, perfect basketball skills, and more with youth recreation. Activities can vary depending on season.
Course DescriptionDASH Ultimate Game camp provides participants with a fun experience learning and playing your favorite physical education games! Games will include: Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tag games, Ultimate Frisbee/Football, Soccer, Sharks and Minnows, and more! Participants will learn teamwork, and values such as respect, hustle, and pride, all in a fun environment. Campers should bring a snack, water bottle, and wear sunscreen. All other equipment is provided.
