From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Course Description
Embark on an epic adventure where the magic of literature meets the wonders of STEM! At Dragon & Unicorn Academy, kids will explore thrilling stories, from dragon-filled legends to mystical unicorn realms, while diving into hands-on STEM challenges. Build dragon wings, code enchanted creatures, and discover the science behind the fantasy. Imagination and innovation soar together at the Academy!
