Course Description

• Summit Private Swimming Lessons are for swimmers ages 4 and up want to improve their swimming abilities. All private lessons are 30 minutes long with a ratio of one instructor to one student. Each lesson is $22 per session. Summit Private Swimming Lessons can be customized to fit the needs of each swimmer.

Logistics

• Lessons are held at Summit Pool in Johnston 9500 Windsor Parkway. Enter through door #20 at Summit Middle School. Bring a swim suit, towel, water bottle, goggles that do not cover the nose, and a change of clothes. Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in your swimmer and use the restroom facilities as needed before the lesson. Please inform the instructor of any special accommodations the child may need for the lesson. Parents should remain in the bleacher seating while the lesson is in progress. If parents need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please email Olivia (Aquatics Coordinator) at olivia.crawford@johnston.k12.ia.us and staff will reschedule the lesson. Staff cannot guarantee that lessons can be rescheduled in a timely manner due to the popularity of the lessons.  There is a $5 processing fee for participant - requested cancellation.

Instructor

• Instructor: Sebastian teaches ability levels 1 (beginner), 2 (intermediate), 3 (advanced), pre-competitive swimmers, and competitive swimmers. He is a Water Safety Instructor (TM) through the American Red Cross.
