Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
Let's spend the day creating an awesome Hedwig Canvas Painting, learning about owls, and enjoying our common enthusiasm for the Harry Potter series. Polk County Conservation will share their live owl with us during an exciting afternoon presentation. We'll also take trips to the playground and watch a show to relax.
