From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Course Description
Calling all future cheerleaders! This is a fun and exciting experience where campers learn basic motions, fun cheers, jumps, and a dance. Older kids are introduced to basic stunts to showcase during their performance. During these practices we will be doing some bonding activities, learning learning a dance, basic motions, jumps, new skills and putting together a performance. Don’t miss this chance to build skills, make new friends, and show off your Dragon spirit! A performance will be hosted at the end of the week-- showcasing what the cheerleaders learned. Kids can wear any purple shirt (if they have one) for this performance.
