Dragon Indoor Softball Clinic: Fielding

Youth / Youth Camps -
Winter.Spring 2026

Course Description

JHS Head Softball Coach Kendal Clark, along with her coaching staff and players, will be working with the participants illustrating fundamental skills and drills. The players and staff are excited to meet the young players and families in the community to discuss softball mechanics, fundamentals, and philosophies.  Mark it on your calendar, come out, and get a jump on your softball season! This camp is open to everyone regardless of what school or where you live.

Strong defense comes from repetition, awareness, and learning how to read the game.

Day 1: Fundamentals—glove work, footwork, throwing mechanics, and basic position drills.
Day 2: Advanced plays—range work, double plays, cut-offs, communication, and real-speed defensive situations. The progression from basic skill-building to game-speed scenarios helps athletes become confident, reliable defenders.
