Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
This class is a wonderful transition between Toddler & Me and Ballet, Tap & Jazz class. Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. The dancers do not have mom, dad or another loved one by their side during the class, so this class is great for children who will be able to participate in class on their own. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving along in a fun, positive, and appropriate way.
