Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
This FREE basketball coaches clinic is an educational event offering on-court demonstrations by a local travel team. It covers a range of topics from warm-ups, fundamental drills, skill development, and offensive/defensive tactics for coaches of all levels. It's an optional clinic for JYB Rec League coaches but strongly recommended on the expectations of running a practice during the league. All those interested can attend and do not have to be from the Johnston School District.
