The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description:
Want to get started in woodworking? What questions do you have? What do you need to know before you start? Members of the Des Moines Woodworking Association, Incorporated will answer these questions and provide a general overview of woodworking. Topics include kinds and styles of woodworking, woodworking equipment and tools, safety considerations, resources, creating a workspace, and other issues. This is not a hands-on class.
