From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Various youth camp opportunities, typically taking place in the summer, for those wishing to immerse themselves in a sport or activity they love.
Mold clay, solve science experiments, learn circus acts and more. These enriching youth courses provide more options than you can imagine - we dare you to try them all!
Learn martial arts, perfect basketball skills, and more with youth recreation. Activities can vary depending on season.
Participants are placed on teams according to the registration questions and randomly. All games take place on Saturday mornings and/or early afternoons depending on the # of teams.
Instructor: JCE with Parent VolunteersNOW HIRING- We are NEEDING Program Supervisors ($15/hr) that could supervise on Saturdays during JYB from approximately 8:15-3:15pm (could be split up into 3-4 hour shifts if enough help). Supervisors open/lock the school gym, help direct teams/fans, supervise halls, set up the gym for basketball, and more as needed.
