From hitting fitness goals to learning new skills and crafts, Johnston Community Education provides a variety of Adult classes for all ages and all interests.
Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Learn martial arts, perfect basketball skills, and more with youth recreation. Activities can vary depending on season.
Course Description:
{YEL!} Video Game Creation - Force Warriors: Heroes of the Rebellion The legend of the Force Warriors lives on...through you! Students design their own Knights of the Rebellion, chart a course across the galaxy, and create their own epic duel with the infamous Dark Knight. Students leave class with their own video game creations.
NOTE #1: This is a 3-day camp offered June 4-6. If the last day of school gets pushed beyond May 30, this camp will be cancelled and full refunds will be issued.
NOTE #2: This is a 5-day camp that has been modified to a 3-day camp in order to bridge the gap between the school year ending and the start of 5-day camps the week of June 9. Participants may not have time to complete each of the coding
