  • All Strokes Swim Clinic featuring Andrew Oberg will focus on proper technique for all 4 strokes. Coach Andrew, once a Lead Assistant Blaze Coach, was known for his extensive knowledge in swimming technique, especially when it came to starts. He is coming back to Summit Pool to pass along his knowledge to swimmers in the Johnston area after becoming a collegiate swim coach!
  • The All Strokes Swim Clinic featuring Coach Andrew will be held at Summit Pool in Johnston, IA. Participants should enter through door #20. Parents are welcome to observe from the bleacher seating in the stands. Parents should not sit on the pool deck level. The clinic will use 4 lanes of the pool on the south side. Swimmers should use the locker rooms on the pool deck as needed. Parents should use the restrooms on the hallway outside of the pool area. Swimmers should bring: swim suit, swim cap, goggles, two towels, water bottle, light snack, sweat shirt and pants that can get wet, and a positive attitude!   • Instructor: Coach Andrew Oberg has been passionate about swimming since he was an age group swimmer. He began his coaching journey at Blaze Swim Club where he helped many kids become passionate about the sport of swimming. He has also been an Assistant Coach for McKendree University and was a counselor and coach at the Aggie Swim Camp at Texas A&M. He is now the Assistant Coach for Iowa Western Community College. He is excited to share his knowledge with the swimmers at this clinic!
