JHS Cheerleaders teach techniques, jumps and cheers. Participants learn all together taught by the JHS Coaches and Cheer Squad. 

Friday, October 11 Performance Details at JHS Stadium

• Please have your child wear the bow they will receive, bring pom poms they will receive, and a Johnston (or purple if you have one) shirt
• Have comfortable bottoms on (skirt, shorts, leggings of any color are fine) and wear tennis shoes. Please do not send cheerleaders with additional clothing or water bottles. Previous years, they lost these...
• Child's hair- their preference (pony tail, down, braided, etc.)
• Arrive at 5:30pm and participants should be brought in by parents at Door #2- Johnston High School Activities Entrance and meet in the cafeteria. Members of the cheer squad will be there to greet.
• REQUIRED- Parents/families MUST pay prior to the football game. Please click here to pay ahead of time. Dragon Camp Cheerleaders are FREE.
• Performing prior to the Varsity Football Game and will stay with the cheer squad until the first quarter end
• Parents need to pick up cheerleaders under the scoreboard at the south end zone. Cheerleaders cannot leave the track until their parents have arrived. JHS Cheer Squad coaches and members will wait on the track with them.
