Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Mold clay, solve science experiments, learn circus acts and more. These enriching youth courses provide more options than you can imagine - we dare you to try them all!
Learn martial arts, perfect basketball skills, and more with youth recreation. Activities can vary depending on season.
In partnership with the Johnston Volleyball Club, participants learn volleyball skills including the bump, set, spike, & serve. The Clinic Leaders guide the participants through practice with the help of parent volunteer coaches. Please sign up to volunteer during registration.
