Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
Have an idea that won’t stop tugging—a story to tell, a service to share, or something beautiful to bring into the world? This 90-minute workshop helps turn that spark into a small business built on purpose and authenticity. This class covers the practical steps to legally start a small business, including researching the audience and finding a niche. Participants will then explore creative, values-driven marketing that connects with the people who need it most. Participants will leave with confidence, direction, and a roadmap to move from “someday” to “I’m doing this.”
