Learn to swim, take to the diving boards, prepare for the Blaze Swim Club, or enroll in a lifeguard training course. Johnston Aquatics has classes for students of all ages and interests. Aqua Aerobic courses offered for adults.
The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-6.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Course Description
Coach Rich Calvert, along with his coaching staff and players from the Johnston High School squad, will be working with the participants illustrating fundamental skills and drills in hitting, fielding, and throwing. They are excited to meet the young players and their parents in the community to discuss softball mechanics, fundamentals, and philosophies. There will be hands-on help from many of the current players as they work on the skills right along with you. Mark it on your calendar, come out and get a jump on your softball season!
