    Course Description Participants learn the fundamentals of basketball with individual attention given to each young player in a station format.     Course Description PE Olympics is a summer program that places individuals on a variety of teams while playing a wide array of games/activities. This will be for individuals entering 4th-7th grade. We will emphasize good sportsmanship, fun competition, and teamwork. Games/activities will help students with core strength, flexibility, agility, speed, power and endurance while improving athletic ability. Games included but not limited to: Tchoukball, Kickball, Soccer, and Capture the Ball. Please wear athletic shoes/shorts/shirt.     Course Description Learn pickleball quick! The shots focused on will be dinks, volleys, serves, and returns. By the end of the week participants will be able to play a match, understand scoring, and where to stand on the court. Beginner- The players learn the basic strokes. The strokes include serve, return, forehand, backhand, dink, and volley. The players learn where to stand on the court and how to score. Intermediate - The players learn strategy, grips, and spins. The players practice implementing the new strokes and placement in live play. Course Description Whether a quicker first step is needed, a faster change of direction, or improved footwork - working on speed and agility with Patrick Jackson will help each child get there! This clinic will focus on explosion, bursts, turn over and top end speed. As a defensive back for the Kohawk football team, Patrick was a two-time, First Team All-Iowa Conference honoree. He was named to the All-West Region first team by Don Hansen’s Football Gazette in 2002. With 213 career tackles, he is tied for ninth in school history with seven interceptions in 2001. He tied a school record with three career blocked kicks. In track, Patrick was a two-time All-American as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team, which finished fifth at the NCAA Championships in 2002 and 2003. After graduating, Patrick played semi-pro football for 12 years with the Sioux City Bandits, Cedar Valley Vikings, Iowa Lightning, and North Iowa Bucks, which inducted him into its hall of fame in 2016.
