The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-7.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.

Learn martial arts, perfect basketball skills, and more with youth recreation. Activities can vary depending on season.
With careful observation of natural objects, students will record data, patterns, colors and shapes into a journal. Participants will combine writing, drawing, and numbers for a dynamic and rich learning experience. Based on JohnMuirLaws.org material, promoting careful observation of the natural environment.
All supplies will be loaned to participants for the workshop. Students keep the journal.
