The Johnston Early Learning Academy offers programs for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds preparing for elementary education.
Before/after school and no school day care during the school year for JCSD students in grades DK-5. Summer full day care during the summer for all students in grades DK-7.
From Mad Science to youth basketball and so much, Johnston youth are invited to participate in one our Community Education's numerous programs.
Cook, craft, quilt - the Adult Course options are endless. Classes are available to local adults of all ages (unless otherwise specified).

Learn martial arts, perfect basketball skills, and more with youth recreation. Activities can vary depending on season.
Open gym atmosphere where staff walks the kids through stretches and then discuss rules. Kids have free time to use the equipment in the gym such as air pit, bars, balance beam, spring floor, trampolines, etc. Waiver is required by each family prior to attending.A required waiver is available online and must be filled out.
